This former washing machine drum is now a lovely lamp from Reestore. It produces an ambient light from the top and shoots beams of light from the holes in its body. A product like this is a great example of a recycled object that becomes a beautiful solution for a variety of spaces.

Another great re-purposing of these drums is as a fire bowl for the back yard – I used to do this for my friends and myself in college. The fire looks super cool through the holes and it gives off great heat on a cold night. They are tricky to remove, but well worth it!
