Grid Set by Valvanera Arrieta
Spanish designer Valvanera Arrieta of Valvanera Design participated in the European Design Labs Master 2012 with Jaime Hayon at the helm and the Grid Set was her thesis project. Not only is the design dynamic, it's functional because the set contains 11 pieces that any table could use including: salt shaker, pepper shaker, oil bottle, vinegar bottle, vase, napkin and cutlery containers, trays and pitchers.

Designer David Taylor is back with a container series entitled The Brand New Heavies, where he uses rarely combined materials like tin and stoneware. The juxtaposition between the heavy, dark brown stone with the shiny, lightweight metallic qualities of the tin, somehow work and balance each other out.
