Tambour Table by Michael Bambino

You know those desks that have the rolling tambour doors that slide open and closed to expose or hide the desk? Well, Brooklyn-based industrial designer Michael Bambino took that idea and flipped it on its head with his Tambour Table. It’s a desk/computer table that looks like your average work table. Not so…

The tabletop can be rotated to either side to reveal not only storage, but also USB connections and a power source. The notched tambour part cascades down the back of the table making it perfect to fit against a wall. Pretty genius.

I love how it hides your cables and the only one you see is the one coming out of the back leg.
