We’ve all seen bookshelves, clocks and coatracks made of words. However, this one by Istanbul-based designer Mebrure Oral, the words actually help you organize your titles. Books you’ve read go on the “has been read” side and the new ones on the “will be read” side. This is a great way to make sure none of the books you haven’t read yet get lost in a sea of old books. If anything, it will serve as a reminder to crack open those new ones…

And good news for you bookworms — they’re for sale! You can order one here.

Did you really buy one? How can I do it ?

Shouldn’t it read, “Have been read”? Unless the user intends to only put one book on the shelf. “This book has been read.” vs. “These books have been read.”

so kitschy trash. who really forgets what books they’ve read? just make a list. this is ugly and who needs a sorting system for their wall.

You are disproportionately angry at this bookshelf.
