The Perfect Pour

The Perfect Pour

I’m sure you’re probably already aware that we love milk over here, but we also love coffee. That’s why we were so excited to stumble on this great graphic poster by Plaid called The Perfect Pour. It depicts various hot, tasty coffee beverages and how they’re made. Buy it here.

How do you take your coffee?

  1. As per the many comments on the site, there are quite a few errors, unfortunately. And it’s pretty far from informative, as the same ingredient changes colors across drinks. Note the top-left three (Americano, Basic Black, & Caffe Latte) for an easy example.

Visually interesting, but doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.

  2. Hi GROXX thanks for the corrections. We were given recipes from baristas all over. We are working on completing the graphic with the most relevant content. Thanks so much! Remember to order your prints from Tom@plaid-creative.com

  3. Yes this awful thing has been circulating around several blogs as of late.

Here is a much better one that circulated around several blogs as of some time later: http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/images/2007/coffee/9_cups_of_coffee_diagram.pdf

The one thing that is deceiving about the one I prefer is how big the cup is. All the cups on the infographic look the same size, but when you usually get a latte or a mocha (Or as I like to call them $4 hot milk/chocolate with shots of espresso) at a coffee shop you’ll get a cup that is 12 or 16 oz, only 2-4 oz of which is espresso.

  4. I love both milk and coffee and don’t care how to take my coffee, it depend on mood.

  5. New design now available for purchase!
