I’d love the Dwellstudio Living Simply curtains in Rain and the linen throw pillows in Sea.
Brad on 01.10.2011 at 09:54 AM
I like the Maharam Dandy Tobacco Flat Roman Shades and I think they would go well with the DwellStudio Soft Scrolls Espresso Cornice. I recently made curtains for the bedroom with the same espresso scrolls fabric, they look awesome!
Liz on 01.10.2011 at 09:55 AM
I’d do the living room of my new house with Pinch Pleat Drapery in Oversize Stripe Charcoal with some beautiful Cotton Throw Pillows in Currant to spice things up!
Ann C on 01.10.2011 at 09:59 AM
For me, I’m adding richness and ambience to my master bedroom and bath. I would choose the rod pocket panels in Java and the bolster pillow in Currant.
Tracy W. on 01.10.2011 at 10:42 AM
The hobbled woven wood shades would look amazing on my bay window that was installed 5 years ago and still has no window treatments. Along with those gorgeous Robert Allen throw pillows, of course!
shelly on 01.10.2011 at 10:48 AM
I am updating my 1916 Prairie Craftsman home and want to install Roman shades for privacy, while not disturbing the thick quartersawn oak trim around the huge, double-hung windows. I would choose Robert Allen Cascade Roman Shades in Kerala, Aged Bronze for the luxurious subtle sheen. The top down bottom up option would be ideal for maximum privacy and natural light. I would get matching bolsters for the sofas in Aged Bronze and a few throw pillows in Reflectivity, Champagne and Link Influence, Harbor to add contrast, pattern and a touch of luxury to the room.
ruthie on 01.10.2011 at 10:56 AM
I would order solar shades and custom made bolsters.
Veronica on 01.10.2011 at 11:13 AM
I would love some of the grommet drapery in our “den” that is the next room in our home to be remodeled. I have been wanting drapers in our home for a long time, but haven’t had any inspiration. And I guess if I won this, I would do one of 2 designs: vintage blossom dove OR citrine. I would love to dare to do citrine, but I had not found a pattern with such color to motivate me.
Jenny on 01.10.2011 at 11:18 AM
Some Maharam grommet drapes, DwellStudio cornices (I’m thinking in soft scrolls charcoal or jet), and Robert Allen throw pillows with flange would create a great clean, but immensely comfortable space!
Lindsey on 01.10.2011 at 11:46 AM
I would love to re-do my son’s room with some DwellStudio curtains and my room needs the Robert Allen Aventura Roman Shades
courtney h. on 01.10.2011 at 11:52 AM
I really love the gray raw silk fabric, so luxurious. What I need is something practical for the kitchen, possibly the chilewich woven lattice silver roller shade.
Ken on 01.10.2011 at 11:56 AM
I’d love a luxor blackout roller shade to replace the luxor shade we already have in my daughters’ room that has mysteriously grew indian ink splotches all over it. Since the girls swear they didn’t do it, it must have grown there naturally, right?
lindsey k on 01.10.2011 at 12:12 PM
I’d choose a couple of Robert Allen pillows and bolsters for our bare sofa, and a cascade Roman shade for some bathroom privacy
Emily Anne on 01.10.2011 at 12:14 PM
Just discovered the Shade Store this weekend and love everything. I’d go with the boteh pinch pleats from Dwell and then one of the cashmina pillows.
Albert Gerard on 01.10.2011 at 12:19 PM
I’d like all the things that no one seems to have noticed and that would otherwise go to people in this contest. Currently a starving student in architecture and all the designed good i own are ones i’ve made or bought before my first year of study. (in otherwords) I’m happy to take on anything you’ll give out.
David C on 01.10.2011 at 12:40 PM
5% white solar roller for some privacy and a ripple fold graphite for light blocking would be nice for the new apartment!
Kevin Ferguson on 01.10.2011 at 12:44 PM
I could do with some new drapes for my room. Right now I’m stuck with this ugly bamboo type hanging things and they do a horrid job blocking light at night, which is problematic considering the neighbors have a harsh light right next to my window.
Robyn on 01.10.2011 at 12:54 PM
I’d go for the Tailored Pleat drapery (Robert Allen) and the custom throw pillows from his collection as well… probably winterhill seaspray. It’ll quickly add a bit more class to my living room!
Sharline on 01.10.2011 at 12:54 PM
I would pair the Solar Shade with the Tulip Roman Shade. Block out the weather elements while adding some beautiful color to the room.
Margaret on 01.10.2011 at 13:18 PM
I would get the flat panel roman shades (black out) with Dwell Studio kids fabric for my son’s room and tailored pleat drapes for the sliding glass door in my husband and my room, probably in one of the maharam patterns. And then we’d all get a great night’s sleep!
Kenny on 01.10.2011 at 14:17 PM
The chilewich roller shade in back with the maharam inverted pleat drapery in front, using a double curtain rod will give me the light control options I’m looking for, while bringing the living room and bedroom together.
phenix hall on 01.10.2011 at 14:26 PM
I wish I may I wish I might have this wish tonight — take the stylish decorative pulls and add them to those funky roller & solar shades to create the perfect look for my sight.
trenton on 01.10.2011 at 14:53 PM
Maharam Dandy Tobacco Flat Roman Shades and the Solar Shade for sure
Stan R. on 01.10.2011 at 15:24 PM
I’d take the vertical panels and team them up with the cornice with nailheads. It would go great in our dining area covering the sliding glass door.
stacey on 01.10.2011 at 15:32 PM
I just got a new couch so I’d love to add some flair with custom pillows!! Black is so boring. My living room needs some pizazz.
Kathryn on 01.10.2011 at 15:36 PM
I would love the roller shades by Chilewich with vintage blossom (can’t decide between the citrine or the jade!) cornices with nailhead.
maureen on 01.10.2011 at 17:34 PM
I wood love having a panel system (bamboo/oat) at the end of our sun porch. We could open it in the summer when the leaves give us privacy. But closed in the winter,it would provide the privacy from the neighbors we need, and still a beautiful view of the lake. This is so innovative!
April on 01.10.2011 at 18:05 PM
My husband’s been begging me for new curtains (not old sheets, like we have now) for our tiny house and I think the Maharam flat roman shades in reverb stripe would look so awesome in our little space!
Agnes on 01.10.2011 at 18:45 PM
My room is way too bright with the sunlight shining in most of the day. I do need some solar shades to be able to sleep a little longer on weekends at least.
I also love the cubicle drapery, too cute…
Webhill on 01.10.2011 at 19:04 PM
The Robert Allen Allepy inverted pleat draperies would look SO GOOD in my room. The many facets golden flanged pillows would look great with them, too.
Leahanne Lockard on 01.10.2011 at 21:39 PM
I’d use the roller shade by Chilewich in poppy, with the Robert Allen cubicle drapery, allepy driftwood color. Pretty!
Kristin on 01.11.2011 at 00:11 AM
I’d go for the DwellStudio Flat Roman Shade in Soft Scrolls Birch paired with a Robert Allen Bolster in Dahlia Gardens Driftwood. Love the modern damask look!
Belinda on 01.11.2011 at 01:58 AM
Is it wrong that I would just get $500 worth of those lovely raw silk cushions to laze around on? I really love cushions!
Amit on 01.11.2011 at 07:30 AM
I’d love Maharam cornices for my home office, perhaps with the Panel system from Chilewich.
kristen foster on 01.11.2011 at 09:24 AM
I used 1″ wooden blinds in the Falls Village Inn designed by Bunny Williams. We used the blinds in every room & they go with everything she designed!
Teri Larsen on 01.11.2011 at 20:01 PM
I would love the Maharam cornices over the Maharam flat roman shades…simple and fun!
Allison on 01.11.2011 at 20:34 PM
for my bedroom i want the pleated roman shade in dwellstudio’s pattern “confetti toss peacock”
in living room XL pleated shade in “japanese paper eclipse”
in kitchen relaxed roman shade in robert allen’s “bespoke stripe pewter”
throw pillows in sky and willow
Lizzy on 01.11.2011 at 20:51 PM
My horribly drab apartment hasn’t been remodeled since the 70′s. (Think beige carpeting and lime green counter tops.)
But I think I could use it to my advantage by adding some classic Pinch Pleat Drapes in Satin Plain Champagne, and matching Bolsters for the couch… turning “desperately outdated” into “vintage”.
CapreeK on 01.11.2011 at 21:36 PM
I’ve been hoarding fabric samples from your Maharam and DwellStudio collections for the last few months, trying to decide what to get! Roman shades and roller shades are definitely on the docket for our bedroom and living room, respectively.
Pamela on 01.11.2011 at 21:41 PM
I would more than love to put up the Robert Allen Aventura Roman Shades with some of the collections throw pillows! I need help decorating my new place! Oh how I love interior design!
Robyn on 01.11.2011 at 21:54 PM
I would love a Dwell Studio flat roman shade in vintage blossom
citrine and a couple of Robert Allen bolsters for our study. They would really brighten things up in there.
Phyllis on 01.11.2011 at 22:13 PM
For my art room I would chose the firenze pleated shades, perfect for two sunny windows and use the cord pulls with amazon grass in them. Would be a fun and creative window treatment.
kathy on 01.11.2011 at 23:16 PM
I’m a Bostonian living in Florida now, what a climate change from chilling winters to extreme heats. The one thing that stays in my mind about Massachusetts is the cottages on Cape Cod or Provincetown. The designs of the homes and the interior are something you don’t forget. Now being a floridian I enjoy the Keywest look being so familiar to my old Cape Cod visions I saw growing up. My home eventually I would like to have the combination of both. For shades I like waterfall or wooden style..They are all nice. So many choices.
Jessica on 01.11.2011 at 23:26 PM
I think roller blinds in Chilewich’s white basketweave and bolsters in DwellStudio’s Living Simply Rain would look lovely in my guest room!
Eric on 01.12.2011 at 01:10 AM
I would finish off my existing closet space with the Chilewich Panel system, two panels in mini-basketweave gravel and accented one bamboo chalk and one mini-basketweave turquoise.
For the windows I would replace my nasty mini-blinds with the much more elegant sheer dot pattern roman shades by Maharam, to add some texture, create privacy but retain light.
Jennie Lyon on 01.12.2011 at 05:10 AM
We are getting ready to purchase a home in Southern Florida. I would love a combination of the tailored pleated drapes, roman and solar shades. This would make moving even more fun!
karen on 01.12.2011 at 06:20 AM
ROD POCKET DRAPERY Owl sky cutains for my kids room
and Rod pockets drapery vintage plumes jade for the sitting room.
I need a new life and new fun into my home !
Thanks
Jennifer on 01.12.2011 at 09:11 AM
we are in the midst of renovating an old townhouse that really needs some work. I went in yesterday and realized that the neighbors have a direct view into our dining room and upstairs into the nursery. AHH! So… I would love to put the Waterfall woven wood shade in the dining room (in grassweave snow) and the Tulip Roman shade upstairs in my daughter’s new bedroom. (and just for fun ans style, I’d add a bolster pillow in the dining room with our kitchen benches and one up in the bedroom too. I just love them!)
Anna on 01.12.2011 at 10:55 AM
I must have the satin plain champagne Bolsters, they’re so aaaaaaaaaawsome! I don’t need anything practical for the kitchen! I’d like to combine it with the TULIP ROMAN SHADE robert allen allepey bordeaux! How glamorous!
Erica Grau on 01.12.2011 at 14:49 PM
I would love love love to redo my living room. It’s my first time living on my own and I want to do this right!
I would put the Pinch Pleat Drapery in Silk Sphere Burgundy on my windows, and lovely throw pillows in Luxury Solid Snow on my new couch! So sexy!
Perfect for my very own first dinner party!
Jeanne on 01.12.2011 at 15:34 PM
I had no idea the Shade Store had so many wonderful and modern options for windows! For the midcentury modern house I moved in to recently, I would love Chilewich Roller Shades in mini-basket weave gravel for the west-facing large windows overlooking the water, which get so bright in the summer. In our bedroom, I would replace the awful shades currently in there with the tonal tweed jade from Maharam Studios – such a perfect color.
Jeanne on 01.12.2011 at 15:36 PM
I meant tonal tweed jade from Dwell Studios :)
Anne on 01.12.2011 at 15:48 PM
I moved into a new place with massive windows in the living room. Um, hello neighbors-in-building-next-door!
I love the vinetta spa grommet Robert Allen drapes. Everything I have is modern/neutral, so I’d add in some throw pillows in fun prints (square blocks or many facets) on the couch.
ashley burse on 01.12.2011 at 15:56 PM
Love love dwell studio roman shades for my daughter’s bedroom along w/ a robert allen bolster pillow!
stephanie.sabbe on 01.12.2011 at 16:55 PM
I woudl do the inverted pleated drapery in gate citrin with the standard woven shade in reeds. PICK ME!!
Michele P. on 01.12.2011 at 21:20 PM
In an effort to be eco-friendly, save energy, and be more “green” I’d go for the 2″ bamboo wood blinds made of sustainable materials and the ultimate solar shades in the ink pattern. Paired with throw pillows in elegant color-coordinated patterns it would achieve the look I want to have in my home design.
Linnea Barton on 01.13.2011 at 16:08 PM
We just moved into our first house, 1906, and have had a terrible time finding the right shades, I am drooling over the roller grassweave mocha and DwellStudio cornices in soft scrolls charcoal and since everyone is raving about the raw silk pillows how could I not!
ewhatley on 01.13.2011 at 20:28 PM
I would choose the XL Vertical for my kitchen.
snowsuit on 01.14.2011 at 00:36 AM
my toddler is just getting her own room! so i’d go for the dwell roller shades in owl sky and a robert allen throw pillow in vinetta spa for me to doze off on while we read bedtime stories :)
Winnie on 01.14.2011 at 04:40 AM
To spruce up a light room with old style furniture, I would definitely go with the Robert Allen allepey bordeaux Cornice and Maharam dot pattern taupe ripple fold drapery.
Carrie Conley on 01.14.2011 at 06:06 AM
I would love to add the XL Pleated Shades to my den….They look so cheerful…
Carrie Conley on 01.14.2011 at 06:09 AM
I am following the Shade Store on facebook and twitter…
Rebecca on 01.14.2011 at 09:41 AM
The Robert Allen Grommet Drapery (we have zero window treatments in our home and plenty of windows, love the light, but in the winter it would be nice to have another layer of energy efficiency!) with the flat shades from dwell studio for a splash of color/pattern – love them all!
Claire S on 01.14.2011 at 09:41 AM
I would love to do a window treatment with multiple patterns- the roller shade in the dotted trellis with a cornice in the oversized stripe. Those bold stripes would liven up any room!
tim on 01.14.2011 at 10:10 AM
the tape lamp is the best.
bg on 01.14.2011 at 10:38 AM
Do I have to mix pillows and shades? I am a fan of mixing the colors in the xl pleated shades, great selection….Firenze orange is my favorite.
Kris Miller on 01.14.2011 at 11:10 AM
I would use the 2″ wood blinds to redo my entire loft: entry, living room, kitchen and bedroom. Yipee!
Karen on 01.14.2011 at 11:53 AM
I would love the Robert Allen – vinetta java Flat Roman Shade to compliment our light gray dining room that opens into our Chocolate brown living room. And to finish the look teh Amazon green Chain pull. Love it!
Britt on 01.14.2011 at 23:36 PM
I’d have to go for either some roman shades or roller shades to block some of the crazy light we get in the afternoon
