Tyler Jones sent me a link to his portfolio, which is full of beautifully crafted handmade furniture.
Tyler says, “I loved contemporary furniture but most of what I saw was made in a factory with cheap materials. The pieces were pretty much guaranteed to fall apart in a few years. So I set out to design furniture that was relevant to us today, but that would remain beautiful and functional for generations to come.”

Tyler Jones is the best furniture carpenter I’ve ever seen and he’s my hero.
Love this furniture. And he is so right…so much of the contemporary furniture that you can purchase today will not last. It is obvious even from the pictures that these pieces are built with quality, and that is spoken from a former cabinet and furniture maker.
