They are smart looking, but won’t the water from the condensation drip through to the table? After time, coasters often have a puddle of water in them. I suppose one could use a coaster for a coaster…
it’s a beautiful idea (especially for us letter lovers =)) but same things as persons above, would drip through, material doesn’t look as it could stand hot (or even cold) very long blahblah.
..maybe could make thin flat layer below letters? ..guess it wouldn’t look as good D= thin transparent layer? ..i know it can be done, but just don’t know it it’ll be resistent enough =/

the coasters aren’t really designed for long-term use. maybe the time it takes to have a meal and chat with friends, but not all day long.

it will not function as it is describe, with those gaps between letters water will still flow through the table.
