I thought these bikes were pretty awesome and did a post on it as well. Then one of my readers mentioned that the Aristotle bike has some safety issues.
I don’t know enough about bikes to gauge how accurate the info is, but thought it was worth mentioning since sometimes (very, very rarely) design isn’t the only consideration.
An Urban Outfitters bike? Really? And it’s single speed? God no.
Design isn’t about good looks. There’s no contradiction between (good) design and safety.
I just got a blue/red one and love it. Riding the train everyday it’s a great conversation starter AND I didn’t go broke by buying a $2000+ frame
Whilst this idea will bring in the moolah for Urban Outfitters, I think that part of having a bike is building it yourself – whilst you are buying a bike, it is honestly more of a fashion accessory.
