veegadesign: A Playful Collection of Furniture and Accessories

Design doesn’t always have to be so serious and taking that direction is London-based designer Veega Tankun, who just recently launched the brand veegadesign. Specializing in handmade furniture, lighting, and accessories, their ‘crafting comfort’ collection focuses on using traditional techniques in modern ways with bold colors and playful shapes to draw one’s attention. They employ unusual yarns and materials to craft their wares, like rubber, felt, and bungee cords, creating cozy, oversized stuffed knits and pairing them with wood bases for structure and durability.
