Dutch architecture firm 123DV recently completed this modern villa, called Villa Veth, in Hattem, Netherlands. It’s about 1,550 square feet on a bit under half an acre. It’s set in high, dry, sandy dunes interspersed with heather, willow bushes and grasslands between a forest and meadow landscape. The house is composed of a living and dining room with open kitchen, five bedrooms, two study rooms, TV room and piano room.

The family loves the outdoors. A covered terrace was created by setting the glass facade back under the roof.

The glass wall of the living area minimizes the boundary between inside and outside.

Frame-less, curved glass is set on a concrete floor. The living room furniture is all custom designed.

The minimalist kitchen has a futuristic feel, thanks to the carved out island.

A wall unit with integrated TV, speakers, shelving and fireplace.

A seamless, integrated double sink and built in appliances.

A wood door provides a nice accent to the dark gray stucco exterior facade.

A carport is hidden underneath.

I love the unique shapes and sharp lines of this house. You can really see what I mean by the second photo down from the top in normal architecture it would be rounded off but its just a sharp cut off. Very unique and beautiful.

Beautiful, but want to see a floor plan. I can’t imagine how you can fit 5 bedrooms, 2 study rooms, a piano room, a TV room, a dining/living/ kitchen and assumedly bathrooms in 1550 sq. ft.

it’s hard to see all those living spaces for me, too. perhaps this (concept) may help, although it was still obscure to see these specs.
