Dutch architecture firm 123DV recently completed this modern villa, called Villa Veth, in Hattem, Netherlands. It’s about 1,550 square feet on a bit under half an acre. It’s set in high, dry, sandy dunes interspersed with heather, willow bushes and grasslands between a forest and meadow landscape. The house is composed of a living and dining room with open kitchen, five bedrooms, two study rooms, TV room and piano room.

The family loves the outdoors. A covered terrace was created by setting the glass facade back under the roof.

The minimalist kitchen has a futuristic feel, thanks to the carved out island.

  1. I love the unique shapes and sharp lines of this house. You can really see what I mean by the second photo down from the top in normal architecture it would be rounded off but its just a sharp cut off. Very unique and beautiful.

  2. Beautiful, but want to see a floor plan. I can’t imagine how you can fit 5 bedrooms, 2 study rooms, a piano room, a TV room, a dining/living/ kitchen and assumedly bathrooms in 1550 sq. ft.
