Wood and Brass Screw Ring by Nucharin Wangphongsawasd

A graduate student of Woodworking and Furniture Design at Rochester Institute of Technology, Nucharin Wangphongsawasd has designed a ring called The Brasstard. The geometric-shaped wood rings come complete with an exposed brass screw.

Typically in furniture, brass fasteners are used not only out of necessity for joining things, but they are decorative as well. Thinking about jewelry in the same light, Wangphongsawasd used the brass screw as an adornment.
