Zesch Interlocking Coasters by Michiel Cornelissen Ontwerp

Dutch design studio Michiel Cornelissen Ontwerp created Zesch, a line of interlocking coasters that when joined together, can form a trivet. Made from 3-ply sheets of bamboo, from which the shape is laser cut, they can be used alone or connected to create any pattern you happen to like. Don’t they almost look like they could fly through the air like a throwing star (minus the sharp blades of course)?
