Manhattan-based architect Andre Kikoski designed this luxury, 1500-square-foot apartment located on the 32nd floor with incredible views overlooking Madison Square Park. Created for a world traveling art collector, it was critical to design a space worthy of the owner’s incredible art collection, which includes pieces by photographer Marilyn Minter, sculptor Rob Wynne, and artist Shirin Neshat, to name a few.
The open, compact kitchen is outfitted in Burmese teak cabinets and solid Statuary bronze countertops and backsplashes. The refrigerator is even clad in teak. The kitchen isn’t used very often so they scaled it back.
Backlit bronze shelves in the living room are inset into the walls and hold select books.
Coves along the ceiling disguise lighting that helps illuminate the apartment and the art that fills it.
A corner of the apartment is covered with floor-to-ceiling windows that highlight the iconic Met Life Clock Tower. The views in general are ridiculous!
