An Unplanned Path Through Sneakers, Soap + NFTs With Stephanie Howard [Video]

We are pleased to share the next rebroadcast of the fall 2021 The Vignelli Center for Design Studies’ Design Conversations Lecture Series with Stephanie Howard, who has had design director and lead designer roles at companies like Nike and New Balance. She recently co-founded and launched Endstate, a company redefining product ownership by using NFTs to unite physical and digital experiences. In the sneaker world, she’s most well known as the designer of the New Balance 850, which originally launched in 1996 and was re-released in 2019. Howard serves on the board of directors of Women in Sports Tech, an organization with the mission to drive growth opportunities for women in the sports tech landscape. Watch:

The initial launch includes nearly 900 high resolution images of artifacts from the archives so that now anyone with access to the Internet and Google Arts & Culture can search the Vignelli archives or browse it by color or chronological order.
