San Francisco-based designer Andrew Cheng recently launched his new Spring Collection, featuring the Spring Chair and Spring Stool. Both offer a cantilevered seat and are built entirely out of solid wood and plywood that are laid out with the wood grains going in different directions.
The plywood seat sits atop dowel legs making it springy, while the rounded front comforts the knees.
