The Basket Chair is a versatile chair designed by Alessandro Busana for Gaber. Inspired by traditional wicker furniture, it’s a pretty cool decorative piece with obvious functionality, too.
In addition to its strong graphic look, the Basket Chair is also convertible. Not only can you choose from an assortment of bases, the chair is easily stackable and can be used indoors or outdoors.
The chair has characteristic cuts in the shell making it easy to upholster, and creates a pleasing contrast between the plastic and fabric materials.
The Basket Chair made its debut this year at Milan Design Week.
