Blub Lounge Club in Spain by Elia Felices Interiorismo

The Blub Lounge Club is a restaurant-meets-club designed by Elia Felices Interiorismo. Located in Barcelona, Spain, the interior is inspired by the undersea world that won’t make you seasick. The lighting, shapes and colors used in the space reflects a colorful underwater world where we become the fish. Upon entering the club you are immediately greeted with algae-like organic shapes dripping from the ceiling and a mermaid made from a collage of plates, colored glass and bottle openers. The hanging plants break up the light and cast amorphous shadows just as in the ocean.

Despite mimicking the ocean, the space doesn’t feel cold. The RGB lighting helps bring an electric feeling to the space warming up the metal surfaces. The wooden tables, chairs, and barstools also add to this feeling.

Aside from a bar and dining spaces, there is a stage and a VIP area too making the space versatile. At the Blub Lounge Club, you can go from happy hour to the witching hour without changing venues.
