Boet by Note Design Studio

Note Design Studio has a new stool called Boet, which means Nest in Swedish. The stool is inspired by birds’ nests: elevated, protected yet soft homes supported by strong tree trunks and branches. The contrasting materials dynamically create a dialogue between the two functions of sitting and support. The base is constructed of metal, while the seat is of a soft cork. The goal was to create a sitting surface that felt much like a nest – like home.

Boet will be shown for the first time at the COUPLICITE exhibition during Maison et Objet in Paris 2011.
