Brad Ascalon Becomes the First American Designer to Partner with Carl Hansen & Søn [VIDEO]

For their latest release, legendary Danish brand Carl Hansen & Søn partnered with an American designer for the first time ever in their 110-year history. The furniture manufacturer joined forces with New York-based designer Brad Ascalon to create a series of furniture that blends their iconic design heritage with the modern/minimalist aesthetic the designer is known for. The result of the collaboration is Preludia, a series of chairs and tables designed for both contract and residential environments. We met up with the designer himself to hear his thoughts on the collection and the history behind it. Take a look:
