Expanding on their Embrace Series that launched with a dining chair last year, Carl Hansen & Son has added the Embrace Lounge Chair, designed by Austrian design studio, EOOS. The comfortable, laid-back chair features soft upholstery atop a wooden frame, which perfectly embodies the Danish brand while broadening the Embrace Series with a new relaxed mate. To go with the lounge chair, they’re adding a matching footstool for additional comfort.
EOOS managed to carry over the same charm from the dining chair version to the new lounge chair, but with a new angle and additional cushioning for a bolder appearance. The cozy, wrap-around upholstery folds in three dimensions to provide extra cushion for your back and arms.
Both the chair and footstool are made from solid oak or walnut in a range of finishes, with upholstery in various leather and fabric combinations along with black, white, brown, natural, or blue edging.
