We all saw how Fab.com took the design world by storm several years ago and they’re ready to do it again with a new brand of affordable, high-end design called Hem. They’re debuting their inaugural collection this month in Paris and London with their online shop opening up on September 30, 2014.
Not only can US residents partake in the goods, over 30 EU countries can as well. Their goal is make high-end design attainable and convenient for the masses.
One of the founders of One Nordic is leading the design team and so far, the collection includes about 30 products with about 100 product variations. Over time, the collection will grow.
The Razzle Dazzle Cushion by Sylvain Willenz are pillows that feature a pattern of clashing angles in a fabric that is woven in 3D, giving it a textured surface. Available in eight colors and two sizes.
The Hai Lounge Chair by Luca Nichetto is a marriage between Scandinavian simplicity and Italian flair. For the debut collection, Hai comes upholstered in one of Sylvain Willenz’ 3D woven fabrics.
The Alle Table by Staffan Holm is a universal table that was inspired by Japanese joinery techniques. Like the rest of the Hem collection, the table is easily assembled with no tools required.
We’re looking forward to seeing more from Hem.
