In 2020 during the height of the pandemic, Italian brand Miniforms launched its Soda side tables designed by Yiannis Ghikas. The glass side table is mouth-blown and shaped by three glassmakers in a process that requires it to be made upside down (you can see the video here). The brand recently added new shapes – oval and squared – to the collection, creating a cohesive family that still highlights the beauty of Murano glass.
The Soda side tables have either two, three, or four “stems,” or bases, that support the surface top. There are four available colors: amber, petrol green, amethyst, and blue. The hammered finish gives them a primitive quality and complements the design’s soft, minimalist silhouette. With its new shapes adding variety to the collection, Soda continues to bring a delightful splash of color to modern interiors.
