Dwell on Design LA is celebrating 10 years of great design this year with exciting new speakers, events and the return of their most popular features like city-wide Home Tours and Dwell Outdoor. Taking place May 29-31 once again at the Los Angeles Convention Center, this year looks to be bigger and better!
First, we’re super excited that Dutch Designer Marcel Wanders will be the Keynote speaker this year. And he’s not the only celebrity designer on tap. Designer Nate Berkus will also make an appearance at the LG Studio Re-Imagination Pavilion, and David Bromstad will share some of his favorite glamping tips.
Some other really cool events have been lined up for this year: a tour of LA’s revered, undiscovered, and bizarre buildings with musician Moby and a talk with Los Angeles-based actor, environmentalist, and Dwell on Design veteran Ed Begley, Jr. will share images of his recently finished net-zero home, and enlighten the audience on how to build a green home in the city; yarn bombers and Norm Maxwell will do a live performances and installation from the show floor.
And, of course, the Dwell Home Tours include three different series: Westside, South Bay and Midtown/Eastside, covering 15 amazing, modern homes all over Los Angles. Get your home tour tickets here.
Other highlights include:
