Edera: A Modular Rug & Headboard System

Edera is an awesome modular product for Formabilio that performs double duty. Designed by Loris De Grandi, in collaboration with Auriga Studio, Edera is a system of rhomboid elements that “grow” into a soft carpet or a plush headboard for your bed. The best part is that you can get super creative to make any kind of customized piece you want.

Each element has two equilateral triangles made up of soft padding and felt with contrast stitching and a non-slip bottom. For the carpet version, there are Velcro strips along the sides that allow you to easily connect the modules together into your very own geometric configuration. For the wall, they have snap buttons that let your compositions hang on the wall or ceiling.
