Kevin Michael Burns is a New York-based designer making furniture and lighting who sent over his portfolio and I’m glad to have had the pleasure of seeing his handiwork.

Pictured above, the Little Mountain Whale Desk was designed by Kevin’s wife. It’s a desk of whimsy made of solid walnut legs, walnut ply boxes, brass detailing and hand-painted cubbies.

Modele No 1 is an oxidized maple credenza with solid hexagonal brass legs.

Moon Black Jupiter is a coffee table made of scorched red oak and maple with insets of hexagonal copper and brass as well as tinted bioresin (which was also scorched).

Right Brain is a solid walnut, brass and hand-painted led lamp that can be dimmed and turned on and off with an iPhone.
