HERMETIC DIALOGUES is the materialisation of Marina Stanimirovic’s search to understand this space where the immutable meets the volatile.
Through materials, shapes, and volumes, jewelry designer Marina Stanimirovic explores the interactions between between jewelry and the body. In her quest to create accessories that are adaptable and don’t rely on ordinary hinges and links, she began to toy with alternate materials. Inspired by architecture and mechanics, she began to experiment with rubber tubing and window seals to make objects that are flexible and can move with the body.
The result is HERMETIC DIALOGUES, a new jewelry line combining everyday, ordinary objects with more valuable materials. It questions the value and ideas of preciousness by mixing contrasting materials, and injecting a sense of authenticity into the precious.
