ICFF 2009: Part 3 – IDSA Wall

The IDSA wall at ICFF was super fun and exciting for me because I was able to meet some Design Milk sponsors!

First, I’d like to draw your attention to the lovely wall mural, designed by our friend Ben the Illustrator! It’s New York:

Next, you can see Aimée Wilder’s booth, and she is the cutest lady ever. Seriously. I am a huge fan of her wallpapers and we chatted for some time. I really loved her clouds design.

Sharing a booth with Amy is Re-Surface. I’ve been a fan of them for quite some time.

Next are FilzFelt and Etcetera Media’s booth: FilzFelt is a wonderful Design Milk sponsor, and I worked with Etcetera Media when I had my shop.

Here they are in their booth. Traci Roloff [left] and Kelly Smith [right]:

Scott Strickstein’s work was phenomenal. He explained to us the process of dipping his forms multiple times to get the milky effect. His pottery is influenced by the shape of bombs.

Melissa Borrell’s wall art pieces caught my eye.
