Islands Multifunctional Office Element by Jordi Blasi

Barcelona-based designer Jordi Blasi designed Islands, a multifunctional element for office and hospitality spaces for manufacturer Vilagrasa.

Islands lives up to its name by creating “islands” in office and hospitality spaces where you can hang your coat, charge your mobile, tablet, laptop or deposit your belongings.

It’s made of a perforated steel plate that sits on adjustable tubular steel legs with stationery feet or casters. Available in different colors, elements can be attached to its surface with small anchors. The panel includes a power strip arranged with the power lines, and customized modules that can be configured for data, phone, HDMI or USB connections.

Accessories include a hanger, a shelf, a magazine rack, a bookcase, a letter box, a pencil holder, a security box, an acoustic panel and three different capacity containers for paper recycling or to leave organic waste. You can even use multiple panels or swivel them vertically or horizontally to suite your needs.
