A Light Inspired by the Moon’s Surface

Taking inspiration from the moon’s crater-filled surface, Constantin Bolimond designed a concept lamp called Armstrong Light Trap. The orb-like light is covered in various sized holes, mimicked after the textured surface of the moon, that become filled with cork cylinders. Remove whichever cylinders you want to reveal more light.

Overall brightness can be adjusted depending on how many holes you open up and close.

Inside the orb are energy-efficent, warm white LED lights, which can be run by a battery or power supply network.
