NYC Dog Toy Collection from Harry Barker
View Slideshow

If you can believe it, the ball is set to drop in Times Square in just a few hours, ushering in 2015. While you couldn’t pay me to be in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, I love New York City, like really love it, and lately I’ve got the fever… the fever that generally can only be cured by giving my credit card number to Jet Blue and booking the soonest feasible flight to LaGuardia. Charleston, SC-based Harry Barker has apparently got the fever, too, judging by their newest toy collection, which features squeaky-toy versions of NYC icons the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, and ubiquitous yellow taxicabs. Each toy, made from heavy-duty canvas and faux fur, is available in two sizes and features a two-way squeaker. Check them out at Harry Barker.

Katherine, who lives with her family in the mountains of North Carolina, curated her own dog blog for a couple of years before joining the Design Milk team. If she ever won the lottery, she’d most definitely spend it all on live music & airfare to New York City. Other interests include craft beer, banjos, books, & BBQ.
