Working with blood jasper, black onyx, and Carrara marble, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec designed a collection of necklaces called Perles. Pearls make sense for the design duo, being that they often work with a simple module that can be infinitely repeated to create something new, much like a pearl.
Steering clear of the typical necklace material, they decided to use stones based on their “fascination with primitive jewelry.”
Each necklace is made up of three-dimensional trapezoid-shaped stones that are joined together. The collection comes in three sizes and was done as a project for Gallery kreo in Paris.
