Puzzle-Like Side Table by Herr M

Taking inspiration from a children’s puzzle, Hamburg, Germany based Herr M designed a side table with hidden storage called Schiebepuzzle. From the side the table looks like a basic cube. Looking down you’ll notice a series of pieces, or “doors”, that slide back and forth and up and down, revealing just little bits of the interior at a time.

Hidden below are compartments to store magazines, bottles of wine (yeah!), coasters, glasses, or anything else you need to put away. The table becomes a bit of hide-and-seek to find the contents but that’s part of the fun!
