Somehow we missed this when it was released last year: the perfectly charming, perfectly funny picture book Scruff (Hato Press) by London-based illustrator Alice Bowsher. Bowsher’s bold black-and-white illustrations tell a heartwarming tale of the deep bond that exists between dogs and their humans, sometimes right down to the way they look.
