The 3D-Printed Bharata Bracelet Is Inspired by Ethnic + Tribal Art

Designed by Filippo Mambretti for Italian jewelry brand Bijouets, the Bharata bracelet is a piece of jewelry inspired by ethnic and tribal art. Its name comes from Bharatanatyam dancers, who wear inspiring jewels while performing a common dance in the Indian and Middle Eastern regions. The Bharata bracelet is designed to celebrate the tactile and emotional bond that’s formed between a human and their body through dancing. Combining modern technology with humanity, the bracelet is entirely 3D printed out of nylon but then hand finished and colored, giving it a hand-made feel. When worn, the bracelet acts as a reminder of the tactile relationship between human beings, the earth, the dance, the body, and the feelings conjured between all of the above.
