The Bauhaus Lighting Collection Stays True To Its Roots

Just like the architectural movement, Arjun Rathi’s Bauhaus lighting collection is dynamic and eccentric with a touch of elegant movement for good measure. The Mumbai-based architect and designer explores the relationship of darkness and light within his designs, delving into the intersection of design, space and scale. Rathi recognizes that light not only provides illumination and alters mood – it can also serve as decor. The Bauhaus lighting collection experiments with traditional industrial processes of metal fabrication and hand blown glass, combining them together to create clean geometric forms for futuristic functionality. The boldly curvaceous series is made up of two pendant lights and three floor lamps.
