A corner flat in Thessaloniki, Greece, that’s positioned with the best views of the water, was designed by Urban Soul Project. The interior of The Floating Apartment is fairly minimalist with a neutral color palette, hidden linear lighting, and simple rectangular shapes throughout.
Floor-to-ceiling glass panels frame different views of the close-by water making it feel like the apartment is floating above it, hence its name. They purposefully configured the layout so that the main living space would be overlooking the street, as that’s where people spend most of their time when at home.
The embedded lighting creates a dynamic element while drawing your eye around the room.

That’s an apartment to die for! Love the shelves and the hints of wooden artifacts against the steel grey backdrop looks amazing. Love the closets too and the furniture of course. And waking up to the expanse of the sea would make every day special, one would think.

The apartment has a very sleek and simple design to it which makes it very appealing. The hints of wooden artifacts in the shelving was a very thoughtful addition to the room adding a splash of a different color. Also, the urban design in this apartment not only fits the name but also is similar to the modern urban designs that are being used in Greece at the moment such as in the hotel shown in the attached link. I love the concept of a “floating apartment” and the design fully fits the name with the placement of the glass panels throughout. I would personally love to enjoy the views and comforts of this apartment.
