The Private Fitler Club Combines Work, Wellness + Social

Fitler Club is a private lifestyle club located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, designed by M-Rad. The club’s owner, David Gustadt, formerly of Equinox, drew from his experience in hospitality to create 136,000 square feet of leading-edge technology combining work, wellness and social into a single space.

The project involved gutting the former Marketplace Design Center while retaining the historical structure of the exterior. The result is a modernist ambiance with thoughtful consideration to the original space matched with one of the largest and well-equipped urban gyms in the country.

The property also features 14 guest rooms, one of which is entirely outfitted in Roche Bobois furnishings. The rooms are expansive, contrasting refined materials with the industrial backdrop of the building’s past. Travelers can work amongst the property’s 34,000-square-foot workspace, mixing private office suites with flexible open workspace.

The club’s stunning interiors also include collaborations with Studio Frazar out of New York City and local firm Fury Design Inc.
