The Stick Lighting Family Tackles an Ancient Symbol

A minimal, triangle-shaped lamp with a form that symbolizes ancient cultures – a graphic that represents the four elements. This is a special edition of Studiopepe’s Stick, presented by Contardi exclusively for Mohd at Milan Design Week 2022.  The lamps that make up the Stick collection use the same base module in different configurations, all highlighting their sharp triangular shapes. The new lighting family, created by Chiara di Pinto and Arianna Lelli Mami, marks the return of Studiopepe.

“We believe in the simplicity of forms and we often begin our projects from archetypal forms. Especially in the design of lighting elements, the shape of the object itself influences the type of light produced and consequently the atmosphere. For Stick, we have been inspired by a simple shape like the triangle and the crystal prism that refracts the light,” di Pinto and Mami shared.
