Italian company Kristalia debuted two new chairs, Rama and Sharky, at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Designed by Ramos Bassols Studio, the Rama chair has clear cut lines and a warm, welcoming shape that perfectly embodies Kristalia’s design aesthetic.
The Rama chair is made of plywood, making it light and stackable. The seat is subtly curved to fit the user’s body, making it supportive at the same time.
Sharky is an upholstered fabric chair designed by Neuland. Paster & Geldmacher for Kristalia. It has sturdy legs that come in solid beech wood or European Oak that supports the soft seat. It’s named Sharky after the two “fins” at the bottom of the chair, where the frame and the base meet.
