I’d definitely give this to my daughter on her birthday. That way, for years to come, and long after I’ve gone, she has a way to see that I tell her I love her everyday.
Ken G. on 01.16.2012 at 09:48 AM
The birth of my friend’s baby… recording the first sound the baby makes and making art out of it would be priceless.

I would give a print to everyone close to my heart with the image of my voice saying ‘I love you”
Pete B on 01.16.2012 at 10:29 AM
I’d record ‘I told you so’ or ‘We’ve been your age but you haven’t been ours’ and give to our daughter as a present from her Mum & Dad so we wouldn’t have to keep remind her that we’ve been there and done that.
She’d love that!
Krista on 01.16.2012 at 10:31 AM
After five years of living together, my boyfriend and I just bought out first house. We move in at the beginning of February, and I’d love to give this to him as a housewarming gift.
Adrienne on 01.16.2012 at 10:48 AM
This would be a great valentine’s day gift saying I love you.
Sarah on 01.16.2012 at 11:02 AM
This would be a great gift for a child. I would love to record my nephew’s laughter as art for his room.
Melissa on 01.16.2012 at 11:15 AM
Yippee! I just tweeted it!
I showed my husband the voice art canvas and he said how nice it would be to have my voice on our wall, sayin’ something nice. How can I say no to the man who made me dinner, ice cream, did the laundry, made the bed and carried me to it when I fell asleep on the couch watching Parks and Recreation?
Jen Smith on 01.16.2012 at 11:48 AM
I would give it to my boyfriend, with my voice saying “you’re right” so every time he is right i can just point at the picture, instead of actually having to say it!
Rich Curry on 01.16.2012 at 11:52 AM

Mi Ya on 01.16.2012 at 12:19 PM
Hello, I would definitely give it to my lover to thank him for the kids and the family he gave me and for the warm comforting and exhilerating love he surrounds me with. Cheesy? Yes. True too.
Laurie Wagner on 01.16.2012 at 12:23 PM

I would have it say “Make some noise!”, which my husband says all the time as a DJ.
Eric on 01.16.2012 at 13:22 PM

Meredith on 01.16.2012 at 13:25 PM
I’ve been dying for two Voice Art prints for several months now. One would be for my husband for our anniversary. We met because of music, because of one specific band, so I’d definitely use one of their lyrics.
The second would be for my parents. I thank them for gifts and the things they do, but I always feel like it doesn’t quite feel big enough. Are words really enough to thank someone for sending you to college and making countless sacrifices over the course of 32 years? My parents are huge music fans, even in their 60s, so I can’t think of a better way to say “Thank you and I love you” than Voice Art.
Sean on 01.16.2012 at 13:32 PM
I hear you
Vanny on 01.16.2012 at 13:37 PM
I loved this! Super creative :) I’d give it to myself and my bare walls <3
Linda Graham on 01.16.2012 at 13:50 PM
My Voice Art print would be for myself. It would contain the words engraved on my and my late husband’s wedding bands.
Mia on 01.16.2012 at 14:18 PM
I’d give one to my parents, “Thank you” for raising me!
Esther Paris on 01.16.2012 at 15:20 PM
I am giggling to myself to picture this. My oldest is going off to college soon. I’d like to make one for her new abode that says the last words my mother said to me before I went to college. The “mystery writing on the wall” would be our little secret. Gosh, that would be delightful.
courtney h. on 01.16.2012 at 16:55 PM
so many different things you could do with this!
Carla on 01.16.2012 at 17:14 PM
The first time I heard my guy’s voice over the phone, it was instant auditory attraction. We’ve been together ever since (6 yrs.) His birthday is actually on 2/14. A symbol of his voice would be brilliant. pick me.

Elly on 01.16.2012 at 17:37 PM
My husband is a musician and since we first started dating he would write me a song as a gift for every Valentine’s day. This could be my way of giving some music back to him.
Morgan on 01.16.2012 at 17:48 PM
I’d give it to my boyfriend and record something in his native language! He’d love it.
Dyana on 01.16.2012 at 18:33 PM

Tom Knowles on 01.16.2012 at 19:03 PM
My brother is 18 and soon will go to Uni. Hr loves music but often struggles to be sociable with others. This would’ve such a wonderful present to decorate his new bare walls which I myself cannot afford. I believe he would love some 60s lyrics and it would make his small living space useable.
mary on 01.16.2012 at 20:13 PM
This would be a good unique gift to give someone you really care about.
Merany Eldridge on 01.16.2012 at 20:40 PM

I will give this art to the orphanage we have in town so that it can be a voice for the voiceless. Then I will buy one for my own wall to remind me who I must speak for.
Traci on 01.17.2012 at 11:05 AM
I know it is not original, but I would give it to my partner for Valentine’s Day.

Steven Burch on 01.17.2012 at 12:03 PM
I would give it to my fiance as an engagement gift – expressing my love and eternal committment.
J'nai Geane Gaither on 01.17.2012 at 12:04 PM
If I were a guy, I’d give it to my girl friend to ask her, “will you marry me?” Instead of a ring, I’d have the art gift wrapped with the actual proposal on USB sitting next to the art, so that she’d know what the art “says.”
I’d also give it to a new parent to say, “congratulations on the new addition” or to use the art to display the baby’s name in voice art. i.e. “Blue Ivy Carter” on voice art canvas.
Cynthia on 01.17.2012 at 13:44 PM
It would be a gift for my husband and it would be our son’s voice saying something and it would perfectly replace the screen print over our bed that says OH WOW. The print is a left over from my single girl days.

i just found this Voice Art print and I am in such awe. I have never seen anything as sublime as these prints before, seriously the most kick ass thing i have come across. I would LOVE to have one of these! I live far away from my family, and it’d be really great to have their voices on it, especially my grandfather’s.
i’m tweeting this so hard right now. thanks!

I could think of several beautiful occasions to give this gift to a loved one; birth of a child, to your child when they are born, your anniversary, special birthdays, surprise someone with a trip somewhere special and this is the way your ask them…

Love, love love this. I wanna give one to my best friend, my boyfriend.
Nancy Nazarian on 01.19.2012 at 16:30 PM

Then I’d sit with my 13 month niece beneath this art hanging in my new home (pending a 1st time buyer loan) waiting to see who speaks first: the house or the kids…Come on Allison! Speak! @leelerae, thanks for the additional dimension to this gift. xo

To have a piece of, not just art, but history.. Which you could pass through generation after generation. Rather than just a photo of your great great granddad, this can be evidence of a living person, which I think is often lost over time.
Aubrey on 01.20.2012 at 10:03 AM
I would give it to my husband. We were in a long distance relationship almost all the time we were dating – the first time we said “I Love You” it was over the phone and you couldnt see eachother. But with this it would be like we could see it as well as symbolic of our ‘phone relationship’
Joi Martin on 01.20.2012 at 10:03 AM
