Where’s Wallet by Daniel Eckler

Where’s Wallet is a minimalist design created by Toronto-based entrepreneur Daniel Eckler. The key element to the design is a thin, unobtrusive sensor that is hidden within the wallet so that it can never be lost or misplaced. The user simply downloads the Where’e Wallet app to begin configuring his/her settings.

The user can set the wallet’s notification range so that once it reaches beyond that range, an alert will be sent to the user’s phone, and subsequently help guide them back to their wallet. The wallet is available in three designs: the slip, bi-fold, and clutch. The wallets are constructed in vegetable-tanned leather, which establishes a distinct patina as it ages.

The wallet’s sensor not only provides location tracking, but it also sounds an audible ping when the user activates the audio sensor from his/her phone. The slip design allows for easy access on three slim card pockets as well as a larger slot for cash. The bi-fold design is for those who need slightly more space, and is large enough to carry daily essentials without being too bulky. The clutch features subtle gold accents and is precision-stitched with high abrasion nylon thread.
