Furniture designers Patrick de Louwere and Bart Eijking of Studio Lawrence exhibited To Gather, an ingenious modular seating system at the London Design Festival last month in six new Kvadrat coverings. The British debut follows the product’s premier at the Interieur show in Belgium last year, where the Dutch duo put forth the forms upholstered in a dozen different shades of 100% wool felt.

A very nice execution of the modular furniture concept. Colorful and clever design. I have designed some modular pieces for clients and every time I visit them the rooms have changed. There’s no reason furniture pieces cannot be flexible and fun. http://www.behance.net/weersingfurniture
