Tutti Frutti: Clever Glass Sculptures from Fabrica

Here at Pinch, we are currently deep in the trenches of product development. We’ve decided to launch a new craft cocktail division – TWIST – and are working away at creating one-of-a-kind bar experiences for the New York event scene. More to come on that in a couple of months!

Meanwhile, while developing our new designs we’ve come across some great inspiration and wanted to share one in particular we saw debuted at Maison et Objets earlier this month.

With drink garnishes on the brain – we instantly fell in love with the clever set of glass sculptures designed by Italian research studio Fabrica. Originating as the research center for Benetton Group in 1994, Fabrica is a collective and collaborative studio based in Treviso, Italy.

The 10 limited-edition stands – contributed by various designers – form a collection named Tutti Frutti – “all the fruits” in Italian. All are designed for displaying or serving different kinds of fruit, with transparent glass chosen to contrast with the natural colors of food.
