UK jewelry brand Nylon Sky, currently based between London and Barcelona, began in 2010 with a love of geometric patterns and laser cutting. Evolving over time and perfecting their signature bold, color blocking style, the designs are made using a combination of laser cutting and etching techniques, and finished off by hand. Their latest collection, “Turning Japanese”, employs plenty of black and ivory mixed with turquoise, gold, and tortoise shell.
The brand was inspired by the far east and took a look at elements of Japanese culture and history, like kimonos of the 1800s and the architectural movement of the 1960s. Juxtaposing materials and colors keeps the collection fresh and visually intriguing, helping to make bold statements on your ears or around your neck.
