The Cucciolo Toilet Bowl Brush Holder by Japanese designer Makio Hasuike has been part of the permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art since 1977. The Sarrafo Coffee Table by Notus Design is made from a variety of industrial waste wooden slats called “sarrafos” and the variation they produce is the essence of the piece’s beauty. The mixture of wood has references to the cultural and ethnic mix of Brazil.

These lovely, futuristic metal and Plexiglas tables by Sif and David are produced in France.

This bookshelf designed by Manuel Welsky makes me slightly nervous for some reason. The shelves look like they’ve dealt with some shaking up by a disaster, but this design ensures that the piece is able to resist the weight of many books.

ONA sent us over two lamps from their collection, Luzzle and Chromosoma. The first lamp, Luzzle, is designed by Ana Blay and it’s integrated by several modules in a jigsaw puzzle shape that can be fitted in different ways to achieve the desired shape. It is made from polyethylene in colors red, black and white. The design of the second lamp, Chromosoma by Javier Alejandre, revolves around the creation of a genealogical tree.
