New York City-based O’Brian Muehleisen Architecture Studio have designed the Place for Trace, a simple yet ingenious wood trace holder for architects. It holds a standard roll of trace with room for up to 15 pens and pencils. It is available in 4 woods, and non-architects will enjoy using it as a handy catch-all for keys, coins, and such.

I like it! I often prefer to use tracing paper roll when brainstorming any design ideas.
