Dammit!
I need these cause I kill everything. I’m surprised my dogs have made it this far.

Planters Galore
After seeing that watering can, I was thinking more about gardens. I just got my new (vintage) patio table and am waiting for my reproduction Bertoia chairs to come in. I want a planter or two out there. I think that’s all I can fit, but that’s OK because I have a deadly thumb (it’s not green at all).
Here are some cute containers I found at SimplyPlanters.com:

How Does Your Garden Grow?

This is the coolest watering can I have ever seen. It’s so sleek, modern, and comes in such great colors! I also like that you leave it outside to collect the rainwater.
Modern Garden Books
There are a few books out there that I am really interested in getting my hands on. Since it’s summertime, I’ve grown this great big green thumb out of nowhere.

Outdoors Fetish
I have been in an outdoorsy mood lately, so all I have been thinking about are plants, patio furniture, outdoor lighting, and grilling. twentytwentyone has a cool new outdoor chaise that I desperately want designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec:

I also found this cool doormat while perusing their new items:

Ylighting has these awesome glowing flowerpots in all different colors. They are made from recyclable plastic and take 4 LEDs. These would be very cool on your stoop or spotted throughout a flower bed.

I’m pretty sick of those tiki torches you find everywhere and Chiasso has a nice, inexpensive alternative:

This past weekend we had such nice weather. I just want to spend all day outside.
Xeriscaping
Living on the east coast is difficult when it comes to gardening because we go through such drastic seasonal changes. I have always been a fan of minimalist gardening and xeriscapes, mostly those of Arizona, Nevada, and California. Unfortunately, many of the plants that can deal with heat can’t deal with our winters. Therefore, I’ve been challenged to find plants that not only look beautiful, but can handle some chilly weather. I am a huge fan of succulents and cacti.

I have recently replaced all of my flower beds with 3/4″ river rock. My plan for next year will be to add a few plants and planters, along with maybe some driftwood or large rocks. I really like these planters from Sprout Home:

They are minimal and look very expensive, but are reasonably priced. I think about 5 of them in a row would look really cool. The round white one would be lovely for my front stoop. I can’t wait until next year!
