Although still just a concept, the LED Eyelash project by Soomi Park explores the desire that women have for large eyes. According to the designer, few Asian women are born with naturally large eyes, and most women have a desire for big eyes because they equate it with beauty.

For this week's The Design Milk Dairy, our curated art collection with Society6, I thought a back-to-school theme would be fitting. However, instead of showing school buses and pencils, I kind of thought of it from the kids' standpoint: back to school means being boxed indoors all day.
