Duo: A Double Purpose Vase by Alessandro Di Prisco

Duo, just like its name implies, is made up of two different components made from two different materials, where the parts fit together to become one object – a vase. Designed by Italian designer Alessandro Di Prisco, the vase is meant to have a double soul.

A block of fir wood acts as the base while a ceramic cube element is designed to slip easily onto the top, creating a contemporary vase for plants or flowers.

The wooden support comes in two heights – 20cm and 30 cm – and the ceramic cube comes in a handful of colors that reference earthy tones.
